THE BROKEN PROMISE
Well, well, well! Looks like Arizona Rep. Abe Hamadeh just learned what happens when you LIE to the voters who put you in office. The freshman congressman is getting a taste of his own medicine courtesy of a GIANT billboard erected right in his own backyard, calling him out for being a two-faced promise-breaker!
Hamadeh signed a pledge to support congressional term limits during his campaign, specifically promising to back a resolution limiting House members to three two-year terms and Senators to two six-year terms. Sounds reasonable, right? WRONG – at least according to Hamadeh’s actions!
THE BETRAYAL
When push came to shove and the actual term limits resolution (HJR 12) hit the House floor in January 2025, guess what our “principled” representative did? He refused to cosponsor it! That’s right, folks – Hamadeh pulled the classic politician move of saying one thing on the campaign trail and doing the complete opposite once he got a taste of that sweet Washington power.
THE BILLBOARD OF SHAME
U.S. Term Limits wasn’t having any of Hamadeh’s flip-flopping nonsense. They slapped up a billboard in his district that basically screams “LIAR!” to every constituent who drives by. And here’s the kicker – 87% of the population supports term limits, meaning Hamadeh just gave a giant middle finger to nearly nine out of ten voters!
THE BOTTOM LINE
This is exactly why Americans are fed up with career politicians who will say anything to get elected, then conveniently develop amnesia once they’re comfortable in their taxpayer-funded offices. Hamadeh’s broken pledge is now literally written in giant letters for all of Arizona to see.
Looks like someone’s going to have a hard time explaining this one at the next town hall!
