The numbers are absolutely staggering: 225,000 Coloradans are watching their health insurance premiums DOUBLE thanks to Evans’ callous votes. The Colorado Division of Insurance estimates that 75,000 Coloradans will lose coverage entirely as premiums skyrocket beyond reach.
Evans had the nerve to claim he opposed the subsidies because “we have to fix the system so that we’re not just lighting taxpayer money on fire” – while families face financial ruin!
THE BIG LIE
But wait, it gets worse! Evans spread outrageous misinformation, claiming someone making $500,000 could qualify for ACA tax credits. Health policy expert Isabel Cruz quickly debunked this nonsense, explaining that premium caps make such subsidies impossible for high earners.
Evans has previously declared “we need to go back to the drawing board” on the Affordable Care Act – the same program that provides coverage to more than 282,000 Coloradans.
