While more than 232,000 Arizonans in his own district relied on Social Security benefits, Rep. Juan Ciscomani was busy playing cheerleader for Trump’s devastating DOGE cuts that slashed vital services to seniors and veterans!
THE SELLOUT
Ciscomani wasn’t just complicit – he was “thrilled” to join the DOGE Caucus that systematically gutted federal programs. While Arizona families struggled to access Social Security services, this supposed “representative” was more interested in kissing up to Trump and Elon Musk than protecting his own constituents.
THE CARNAGE
The damage was swift and brutal. Trump’s administration laid off 1,400 workers at the Department of Veterans Affairs, including therapists and mental health professionals right here in Arizona. Veterans who served our country were left without critical care – and Ciscomani cheered it on!
But wait, there’s more! Ten staffers were fired from Arizona’s rural development office, crippling government loans for rural communities. Museums and libraries faced $3.8 million in grant cuts. Even National Park Service offices got the ax!
THE BLIND LOYALTY
When asked if he disagreed with ANY of Trump’s decisions, Ciscomani’s pathetic response? People should just “trust Trump” – even as veterans protested outside Tucson’s VA hospital and seniors couldn’t access basic services.
With roughly 15,000 federal workers in his district, Ciscomani essentially told his own constituents to pound sand while he played Trump’s lapdog.
Apparently, being Arizona’s “sole House appropriator” means appropriating your spine to the highest bidder – even when it screws over the people who elected you!
